Didn't Jackson start out as an outfielder when he was first drafted? I mean if they're going to put anyone in the outfield that would make more sense

Drafted as a catcher, Seattle converted him to an outfielder and then Atlanta put him back at catcher. He played 158 games in OF in minors.

I have no idea why but something about Jackson reminds me of our old pal Alex Gonzalez. Can't put my finger on it but that's who I kept thinking of when I'd see him come up last night.

1) He could take a bad route on a fly ball

2) He could strain his hamstring trying to chase a ball down

3) He could overthrow the cutoff man while trying to be a hero

4) He could collide with the CF

5) He may get distracted by the ads on the outfield wall

That was an entirely rhetorical question. 💙

He pretty much has no value as a catcher anymore, so see what else he can do before cutting bait

I mean, he doesn't hit well enough to be anywhere else either lol.

Does it matter? We need to know if he can hit at the big league level.

Jorge Alfaro is a waste of time.

Yeah I think he’s (ironically) put such a focus on his defensive game that maybe being able to focus only on hitting may help him out.

Maybe he means a DH of OTHER team.

No and no team would be dumb enough.  I said it because Ng loves serving leftovers even if it poisons her customers.

He reminds me of Henderson Alvarez too in a weird way.

My dad thinks he looks like Alex Gonzalez. I saw little Anibal.

I blame the broadcast for that wrong information. Someone said it the other day on there.

All good. I was curious about our acquisitions so I did a lil bit of googling on them and found that..
