That’s fine. As long as he’s being patient and staying true with his approach that’s all that matters. Obviously he’s hot at the plate right now but I actually expect that number to go up through out the season. He isn’t really chasing anything anymore so that’s probably going to lead to the increase in walks once they start pitching him more cautiously.

Also to be fair, his walk rate since his most recent call up is 7.5% (includes the walk today). Still below the MLB average of 8.8%, but I imagine the walks will rise when pitchers start pitching around him.
