Michael
But they still want Holloway to be a starter.
SongInTheAir
If we're being honest, Nick Neidert should be moving to an organizational depth role. I mean, someone has to pitch in Triple A, right? Why not Nicky Neids?

Entendu
This is one way to build a pretty good bullpen.

Das Texan
I have no problem with shifting Neidhart to the pen. See if he might be effective there in short bursts. As long as its not a guaranteed MLB bullpen role, so be it. Its not a bad idea honestly. Some of these guys need to shift to the pen eventually. There's nothing wrong with testing Neidert there. Some guys end up transitioning to the pen and doing incredibly well (e.g. Andrew Miller). He might be great or he might suck. But he probably isn't ever going to be a part of our starting rotation, so why not try him in the pen and see if it sticks? However, they need to apply the same to Jordan Holloway who has shown he's not good starting, yet fantastic in relief.
