Multiple reporters including the person who interviewed him: "Yeah, he ... he most certainly did say that."

i get that you aren't going to like everyone you work with but man this cat just comes across as arrogant on a whole different level.  There are a ton of different ways to be diplomatic about someone you don't like.  I do believe that Freddie probably is a "traditionalist" and i like the newer energy that some guys bring to baseball but I don't like guys who make it ENTIRELY about THEM.  Freddie helped win them a WS.  Acuna did not.  He needs to realize what that means to the fans in Atlanta and how much Freddie was loved there and stop pissing all over everyone because you literally believe you're the single greatest player in all of MLB. 

 

i kinda laughed he's still rehabbing.  Hope he has multiple setbacks.  He's just a POS on so many levels.

Someone I've interacted with a bit more than these reporters/interviewers provided a little more light, and this seems a lot more reasonable.

 

 

And I'm sure Manfred is gonna keep putting this moron in the spotlight. 

he's such a trash person, it must be awful to be his teammate and have to pretend like everything really is about him.

I don't think his "real" answers did anything to clarify anything either. If anything, he sounds even worse. So when Braves grow tired of him at some point in his career and he goes to another team he's gonna say he doesn't miss anyone on his old club because they're on another team? There's a massive chasm between having fun, bringing some youthful cockiness, and entertaining people versus just being a huge douche seeking attention. His clarifications made it even more clear it's 100% him and no one else on the team. Can't wait to see how much this wet shit splat thinks he's worth come contract time.

His antics every time he is hit or a pitch even comes close told me everything about him. If I have to side with either Freeman or him in this, the choice is easy for me.

Just blows my mind that he "clarified" his stance by saying - why would he miss anyone who goes to another team? 

 

I really hope the decision to not retain Freddie and instead bring in someone new was not partly inspired by this idiots disdain for Freeman.

I hope he's injured again as well simply for the reason if any of our people happen to hit him while he's standing over top of the plate they'll get an automatic ejection and possible suspension. I don't need to see that again although it would be pretty dope if it happened during a game Tommy was calling.

Braves only won largely because Acuna blew out his knee.
