And there goes number 62. New American League record. Now does he try for the triple crown or just sit out the remainder?

Arraez is at .315, Judge is at .311

Arraez has 546 AB, Judge has 570 AB

Is it mathematically possibly and what would it take?

Aaron Judge is 177 for 570. That's a .310526 batting average.

Luis Arraez is 172 for 546. That's a .315018 batting average.

On the last day of the season, if Aaron Judge goes 4-for-4, he will end up with a .315331 batting average.

On the last day of the season, if Luis Arraez goes 0-for-4, he will end up with a .312727 batting average.

So yes, there is still a chance. And I don't feel like doing more math, but it probably doesn't even take a 4-for-4/0-for-4 day for it to happen.
