Posted January 6, 200421 yr 01/06/2004 4:28 PM ET World Champion Florida Marlins to report for Spring Training February 21st Pro Player Stadium -- The Florida Marlins will report to Spring Training 2004 on Saturday, February 21st when pitchers and catchers arrive in Jupiter. Position players will join the pitchers and catchers on February 24th and the full-squad will hold its first spring workout on Thursday, February 26th. Prior to the arrival of the Marlins position players, the pitchers and catchers will hold a workout on Monday, February 23rd. Florida opens its 12th Spring Training season and second season at Roger Dean Stadium on Wednesday, March 3rd with an exhibition game against the University of Miami at 3:05 pm. The team will officially open its Grapefruit League season the following day against the Baltimore Orioles at 1:05 pm in Fort Lauderdale. All home games will begin at 1:05 pm except the Wednesday, March 10th 7:05 pm contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers and the 12:05 pm New York Mets game on Saturday, April 3rd. The Marlins will close out Spring Training 2004 on Sunday, April 4th in Albuquerque, NM with a 3:05 pm exhibition game against the team's AAA affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes. Individual game tickets for Spring Training will go on sale on Saturday, January 17th at 9:00 a.m. Tickets will be available at the Roger Dean Stadium ticket office and through Ticketmaster outlets. Individual game ticket prices are as follows: Field Box Seats: $21.00 ($22.00 Weekends), Loge Box Seats: $19.00 ($20.00 Weekends) and Bleacher Seats: $7.00. Roger Dean Stadium will also offer Berm Seats for $7.00 (available day of game only) and Standing Room Only tickets for $5.00 (available day of game only on sellouts). Spring Training season tickets at Roger Dean Stadium are now available for all Marlins fans. A Field Box season ticket will cost $304.00, a Loge Box seat will cost $272.00 with a Bleacher seat for $96.00. Season parking passes are available for $45.00. The Marlins and Roger Dean Stadium are also offering the 5+ mini plan. The plan allows fans to purchase tickets to five or more games at a discount before individual game tickets go on sale. January 6, 200421 yr I'm guessing most postion players will report before the 24th, atleast thats what happened last year... Is anyone planning on going to the Public workouts on Roger Dean Stadiums practice field?

January 7, 200421 yr Pitchers will report first then the Rest of the players report 3/4 days later LCastillo... I cant wait till that UM game and the games down here in Ft.Lauderdale. Those are the only spring training games i can really go to alot.
