Even if they played well, Daddy D was hellbent on dismantling the team before it got so expensive it might make Bruce have to raise the payroll out of the bottom 5 in MLB. I'm sure that was Daddy D's orders before he came here.

But what do we know, right? My preseason prediction was around .500 - pitching will keep us in games, but the lineup isn’t good enough to have us fully competitive. May shows just that now that the injury situation has improved.
