Posted March 15Mar 15 Jesús Sánchez has been diagnosed with a left oblique strain and will miss four weeks. Not great. Sánchez suffered the oblique injury during Thursday’s spring contest against the Braves and will require a trip to the injured list at the outset of the regular season. His absence likely leads to a starting role for Dane Myers in right field for a couple weeks. The 27-year-old slugging corner outfielder put together the strongest year of his career last season when he posted 18 homers and 16 steals in 149 contests. Barring any setbacks, which isn’t a given with oblique issues, he should return by mid-to-late April. RotoWorld
