January 10, 200422 yr I am fine with the seating decks being uneven, it allows for the seats to be removed for the roof without having the ugly wall there until it is put in, if ever. The sharing of the tower is worrying me because the OB would lose some of it's look, but the ballpark would have obstructed it anyway and the money saved is worth it. Just get it done right!

It all works out in the end.

January 10, 200422 yr We'd move from one football/baseball stadium to another. I think we're overly desparate to get out of the Pro and we're letting it affect our judgement. From what I've read/understand, the OB is no better than King's proposal, and due to parking problems and neighborhood problems, King's proposal may even be more attractive because we get a roof and sole use of the stadium. I gave it a 2. The difference is that the baseball side is built for baseball, whereas the Pro is most assuredly not. It's not an ideal proposal, but it could have been worse. Frankly, 65,000 for UM is fine considering the average weekly attendance (not including Florida or Florida St). Parking would not be too bad, since it is located close to MetroRail, which most people would end up using. They are expanding it anyway, so many more people could use it, including Browardites, who could pick it up at the Pro....

Sure, they'll have a few less people come, but the days where tickets can be given to free to anyone outside the stadium are gone. There will have to be a lot more season tickets.

I don't know when Temple or Rutgers experienced that. ya, unc is a better attraction than those two the quality od f opponents might not make a huge diiference but acc teams travel well and get natl exposure, so there will be a jump in attendence, esp. when spurrier coasches in the obowl for the first time (2005)
