Miami Heat and Orlando Magic Trade in the Works?

Featured Replies

Feb. 13- Orlando reportedly has inquired again about Brian Grant's availablility and might be willing to package half its roster -- including Juwan Howard -- to get him. The only guys the magic are dead set on keeping Tracy McGrady and Drew Gooden.

Interesting...

Miami should do whatever it takes to get rid of grant. he makes way too much. they should do whatever it takes to get his and EJ's contracts off the books.

Well. From what Ive Read the Heat could Trade Grant for Howard and 2-3 other guys or something that arent named Mcgrady or Gooden.

Imagine T-MAC in a heat uniform....

how much does grant make a year...

i hate that guy he's not powerful enough to be our center

he makes about 12-13 mil a year for the next three years. yea he makes too much but hes our best post defender and one of the best in the league. He is powerful enough to be a center its just that hes too short. and if you still dont think hes powerful enough, ask yao ming and jermaine o'neal and guys like that. grant always has to guard the best post player on the other team and its starting to catch up to him with his knees. yea he makes too much but what he does is invaluable to this team.

if u get rid of grant for howard, that means that a guy like loren woods(now HE'S soft) or udonis(6'8" and not as good a defender as grant) to play center.
