Make your choice, if it's your own nomination or not. Vote for what you think is the BEST one.

This will be open for 1 week.

Nominations are from here.

Future = NOW

In Jack We Trust

Like I said - it's catchy, funny, and true. We trust him as the leader to lead us to the victories.

And like 'Zoid always said, "The Future is Now" is too cliche or however you spell it

In Jack We Trust.

In Jack We Trust

Im not sure which because they make such good logans but i went with the Future is Now

In Jack We Trust......

Looks like it is going to be close!

Vote "In Jack We Trust" !!

Vote "In Jack We Trust" !!

yeah I think the site should have something original, not a slogan that has been used for so many other things. "In Jack We Trust" is original and it works perfectly.

because neither of them are original It's more original than The Future is Now. And at least its not bitter like Suck It Fudge. This isn't a Red Sox site. We don't need to be bitter, we just won the World Series.

because neither of them are original Yeah I've seen "In Jack We Trust" used for so many other things. (now that's sarcasm in case you were wondering.) At least "In Jack We Trust" took some creativity to think of. "The Future is Now" was just something someone saw and thought it would work for us. (although I think it would have been a better slogan for last year not this year.)

if you havent noticed, i've been campaigning against "the future is now" for a few rounds now... and i don't mean any offense to the person who picked it.

"the future is now" can be used for almost anything and really doesn't have anything at all to do with the marlins, baseball, or the website... would you really want to see "marlinsbaseball.com: the future is now"? you could apply the logo to movies, space ships, tech companies, TV sets, microwave ovens, baked goods, auto parts, baby diapers, kitty litter, and so on.

anyways, click the two google buttons i've pasted below and see for yourself.

In Jack we Trust

I voted for In Jack We Trust. I fail to see how The Future Is Now, I think that kind of came to be last season.

The Future Is Now

I dont base my decisions on a google search engine.

sorry

The Future STILL is now, it's not like we won the world series so now the slogan is not valid. It fits the team perfectly, based around a group of young talented players that will make up our team completely one day to form (hopefully) a dynasty. I also like In Jack We Trust, but IMHO I think it's focused to much on just Jack, not everyone as a team, which is how we got to where we are today

When I think of a team with the slogan "The Future is Now" I think of a team full of young players that have been hyped and said that they will be good in the future, but haven't been good up until that point. That's why I say it would've been perfect for last year, but we won the world series, and I just don't think it fits as well anymore.

wouldn't you agree that a slogan that is "based around a group of young talented players that will make up our team completely one day to form (hopefully) a dynasty" can only cover the young talented players and excludes the rest of the team?

look at the players listed on our roster on espn.com:

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/roster?team=fla

of the 28 players listed, 10 of them are in their 30s.

that's why i prefer in jack we trust--which, by the way, i didn't nominate. it doesn't exclude anyone and tags the whole team under its manager's trust... it's got nothing to do with google.

that's the same reason why i didn't like "suck it, fudge" or "young guns" either.

In Jack We Trust

And, both are clicheish anyway because in jack we trust is like "In god we trust" just modified, and when you search for that, you get about 130,000 results.

The Future Is Now.

The Future is Later! :shifty

The Future is Now! :thumbup

The Future Is Now-is winning-26-20.

In Jack we Trust 100%.

I can't believe the "Future is Now" is winning. Common guys. how does that makes any sense? I rather be bitter and have "Suck it, Fudge" than this "Future is Now" nonesense

clue, we just won a World Seriers. this is not 1998
