  1. Phillies fan here. Don't hate us. The only time we had a grudge against you was when you took our playoff hopes away, but it really wasn't the Marlins, it was more Jeff Conine, who killed the Phillies over and over again. I say don't hate us because we are underdogs and we are always taking a back seat to NY. You have no idea how relentless those people were on our forum for months and months and months. A lot of it got very personal as well. The NY Mets felt as though the NL East was their birthright. They took all the other teams in the East for granted - the Braves are always scary. Washington and your team - although you both didn't have great years - are scary as well with a lot of talented players. Ramirez, Uggla, Heremida and of course, Cabrera are potent hitters and I'm sure you guys will get a couple of players in the offseason and turn it around. Hey, in ten years you've won two World Series. In more than 100 years, we've only won one, so try to cut us some slack. Our guys are good, decent, not cocky - they play hard and never an ill word is spoken of them in the media. Can't say the same for the Mets. You should hear what they said about Kim. One other point - Dontrelle and Jimmy Rollins are the best of friends. Have been since they were boys in Oakland. I'll bet Dontrelle is pulling for Jimmy this year as I know for sure that Jimmy was pulling for Dontrelle in years past. That being said, today, the town in Philadelphia is indebted to your Florida Marlins. We thank you and we wish you the best in years to come (but not too much best LOL).
