  1. Hey Everyone Depending on whether the Marlins are still in contention by the July 31st trade deadline i think it would be a great idea to try and acquire Juan Pierre from the Dodgers! I read on MLB Trade Rumors that the Dodgers may consider trading Pierre when Manny returns to the lineup. What do you guys think of this? Good idea or bad idea? Right now he is on fire! With a .349 Average, 14 stolen bases, .409 On Base Percentage and 21 RBI's which is pretty good for a leadoff hitter! I dont know whether he's going to be able to keep up this tremendous pace for the rest of the season but he would definitely be an upgrade over BonificaAAA! I know that Chris Coghlan is playing pretty well and i think he's a nice young player but he could do well at the 2 spot or have Pierre at the 2 and keep Coghlan at the 1 spot. However i dont know if this potential deal would make sense if the Marlins fall completely out of contention which could happen with Fredi [dont get me started on him] making his usual blunders. Im not going to sit here and crticize Fredi all night long since i know we have plenty of people who do that already. Also i dont know what his contract is. Of course there are always financial implications regarding the Marlins personnel decisions! Anyways im interested in reading what u guys think of this idea
