Mike Neu pitched two scoreless innings and keeps his ERA at 0.00. 3B Joe Dillon has been en fuego since his call up and continued that today by going 3-4 with a homer and 3 ribbies and is now hitting .413. He went 4 innings and gave up two earned runs while striking out five and walking five. Jason Stokes drove in the 'Cats lone run and he is currently leading the Southern League in RBI at 51. The game will be finished today(6/3) at 5 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled game. But here is some good news: Hammerheads Have Three Players Named to '04 FSL All-Star Team ? June 2, 2004 - JUPITER, FL ? The Jupiter Hammerheads announced today that the Florida State league has selected a trio of players to represent the East Division in the 2004 edition of the Florida State League All-Star Game, to be played June 12 at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie. The Hammerheads players selected were catcher Eliezer Alfonzo (.263, 15 HR, 38 RBI), infielder Chris Bass (.296, 22 RBI) and outfielder Jeremy Hermida (.321, 17 RBI). Alfonzo is second in home runs and third in RBI. His slugging percentage of .502 ranks seventh in the league. Bass is fourth in the league in hits (59) and is tied for tenth in doubles (13). Hermida, the Florida Marlins? #1 prospect, according to Baseball America, has been sidelined since May 11 with an injury, but was ranked in the top 10 in batting average before his total number of at-bats were not enough to qualify him amongst the league leaders. The 43rd Florida State League All-Star Game will take place during All-Star Weekend in Port St. Lucie on Saturday, June 12. First pitch is slated for 7:30 p.m. with a fireworks show following the game. I'm surprised no pitchers were named from Jupiter. Bazardo has had a pretty good year as well as a couple guys out of the bullpen. Maybe they name those later I'm not sure. I'll check. Lo-A The Bats lost 9-2 and there really aren't many bright spots here in Greensboro. The Bats have the worst record in the Sally at a dismal 13-41.
June 3, 200422 yr Author I checked and pitchers have already been named and no Hammerhead hurlers were selected.

That's from last night. They had a game scheduled against Daytona today but I can't find a box and I didn't listen to it live.
