I guess this isn't really big news unless you live in the state of Connecticut (in which case it dominates the news), but Rowland was supposed to be the "future of the GOP". His resignation was kinda expected following the Court's decision telling him he had to testify, but this news has definitely dominated the state's news outlets for a while now.
