September 10, 200421 yr I was following some historical hurricane storm tracks on the nbc6 website, and many of them were extremely interesting. In fact most strong hurricanes and the ones that had the most impact had unusual tracks. Andrew for example was moving almost northwest and was still well east of the bahamas and then b/c of high pressure it moved completely westward through most of the bahamas and actually took a SW wobble as it hit south fla.
