September 10, 200422 yr Author All I could find was this bit on MLB.com: Put in a pressure situation, rookie right-hander Kensing will make his Major League debut at Wrigley Field in the midst of a playoff race. The right-hander makes the leap from Class A Jupiter, where he was 6-7 with a 2.96 ERA. The Marlins' second-round pick in 2003 relies on a 92-94 mph fastball, a changeup and sinker.
September 10, 200422 yr ? With the big league schedule scrambled, the Marlins need an emergency starter during this weekend's series against the Cubs, and they apparently have settled on righthander Logan Kensing to pick up a start. A second-round pick in 2003 out of Texas A&M, Kensing finished the season in strong fashion at high Class A Jupiter. Kensing went 6-7, 2.96 overall for the Hammerheads, and posted a 1.56 ERA over his final 13 starts, totaling 45 innings. Kensing relies on a heavy sinking fastball in the 89-94 mph range. ~ BaseballAmerica
