Hitler. ''Wildly inappropriate,'' says attorney David Edelstein, 35, who saw the youngster at the parade in the school courtyard. Edelstein shot several photos of the boy. Then he alerted the Anti-Defamation League. Art Teitelbaum, the ADL's southern area director, viewed the pictures and called North Beach's principal, Aida Marrero. ''Grossly insensitive on the part of any adult who was involved in selecting this costume for an innocent child,'' Teitelbaum says. ``Nothing justifies the trivialization of the memories of the Holocaust and the evil of Adolf Hitler.'' Marrero told Teitelbaum that the student was removed from the Halloween celebration. ''For safety reasons, we took him out of the parade,'' says Miami-Dade Schools spokesman Joseph Garcia. The boy changed back into his school uniform and later returned to class. http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/...an/10052213.htm
October 30, 200421 yr WOW. :o Someone is losing there job over this. Thats for sure. The adult who is responsible will hide behind free speech claims but whoever let that kid in parade put him in serious danger and really offended other kids. Terrible.
