god I hate Syracuse

although there really isn't much chance I hope that my Dragons send shock waves through the dome this year

their non-conference this year is a joke .. they will get bounced around playing the big boys

I am one of the biggest haters of their non-conference schedule. When i went to school and covered the team, i asked boeheim about that and he yelled at me and told me that I probably wanted them to play Duke and Maryland. He told me that this schedule allows the freshmen to grow....i thought to myself bulls***....this coddles those kids.....

My other team, Temple, has it right...we'll play you anywhere, anytime....

yeah .. i have nothing but respect for Temple ... would occasionally go over to the Liacouris Center and watch them play (or at the "whatever bank we are today" center if they were playing a major team)

Boeheim is always considered as a jerk by most in upstate

I grew up about 3 hrs west of Syracuse and have just never cared for them ... it is a good school though so I can't fault you for being an alum ;)

I always agree though that it's good to give young players time to grow and you don't want to kill their confidence .. but you have to push them a little as well
