Camaro Offroading

Featured Replies

So, I'm giving my friend Pete a ride home last night going down old county road. Surprisingly, the road was actually fairly clear. I was going about 30, maybe 35, and soon after I crossed into Thomaston, I hit a huge snow drift right in the middle of the road. I didn't really have time to do anything before I got to it, so I just hit it. The mistake came when I tied to correct myself. Bad idea. We ended up doing a 180 into the other lane, going backwards, and finally into a ditch. But were we pissed? No. We thought it was funny as hell.

We tried to get ourselves out, but were way to stuck, so I ended up calling AAA. The girl I was talking to so I could get pulled out thought it was funny. So anyways, after about fifteen minutes of waiting, this vehicle come up and stops behind us. Judging by all the lights, I assumed it was AAA. No. It was the cops. The cop asked what happened and took a look at our ID's and registration, probably trying to decide if we had a history of bad driving. If so, the jokes on him. I don't have a flaw on my driving record. So anyways, I explain to him the situation and he takes a look at our car and you can just tell by looking at his face, he's trying not to laugh at us.

Anyhow, the tow truck comes and the cop gives us back our ID's with a laugh and the truck pulls us out of the ditch. After that, we decided to go back through Rockland and travel to Thomaston on the main roads just to be safe. Either way, it was a fun experience and we had a good laugh about it.
