Posted March 17, 200519 yr comment_453156 I know that there are primarily grapfruiters here, but I have to say that it's nice living in the heart of the cactus league the teams out here may not all be my favorite, but most play in the phoenix metro area and the stadiums are pretty current however i've noticed some ups and downs and wonder if it is the same in the grapefruit low ticket prices ... I love being able to get in for $5 and sit on the outfield lawn high concession prices ... However, if I want a beer that will be another $6 please convenient stadiums ... all but 2 teams play in the phoenix metro so it's real easy to see about any team on any day traffic ...... combine the out of towners with the usual snow birds and it's a mess just trying to pass by the general area is a no go nice stadiums ... they are upto date w/good facilities ... enjoyable sightlines and player access metal bleachers .... seriously, you better bring something to sit on if you don't have a covered traditional seat player run ins ... since these guys move to the city for a month i've had them live at my old apartment complex, met them at bars, restaurants etc ... one of my female friends even went out with Laynce Nix a couple times and the padres kid got arrested at a bar in my old neighborhood chicago ... thankfully most of the cubs fans migrate to the other side of the city and the whitesox fans aren't that bad .. but the cub fans are seriously obnoxious as shown below (the pic was on the front page of the sports section, wtf?!) is this about the same with FL?!
