June 1, 200521 yr James Shanks....L/F for the Mudcats suffered a fx of the jaw in 4 places...he is to be looked at once again this pm to see if a plate is needed to be inserted in place.....this is a tough loss for the Mudcats.....looks like Abercrombie might get a call...they really need help in the bullpen...only 6 relievers left...they are one short but the roster is full....now that James is out perhaps they will get either a reliever or another outfielder....Muniz will fill in admirably in left field and they also have Moore who can play left field.....tough decision to make....I would go with another arm....best wishes to James and hope he can come back before season's end

June 2, 200521 yr Author The latest on James.....he took BP tonight before the game...this kid does not want to sit out...the pain has to be tremendous.....not in the lineup however.....more to come
June 2, 200521 yr Author James is definetly out.......my informant said he did not take any BP last night...he and Muniz do look alot alike and if their uni #'s aren't showing it is hard to tell who is who.....Muniz will fill in admirably in left field.....
June 3, 200521 yr 4-6 weeks for James......may be bringing up Abercrombie..... 793998[/snapback] It wasn't Abercrombie that was called up - It was Andy Rohleder who was batting a ROBUST .152 (which I guess is kinda good, since he was batting .088 three weeks ago). I guess he'll be a temporary bench filler.
