TNA Slammiversary News

TNAWrestling.com has made many big announcements regarding their upcoming Slammiversary PPV set for June 19th. The PPV will mark the return of Amazing Red, Alex Shelley, Shockey, and Shark Boy. Amazing Red has been officially re-signed by TNA and is expected to appear at the PPV in a match yet to be announced. Amazing Red's opponent could be Alex Shelley, who is being brought back to TNA after being last seen in the company with the "Baby Bear" gimmick in late 2004. No word on whether Goldylocks will be brought in to manage Shelley again.

Shocker has also been re-signed to make his return at Slammiversary. He'll be in a match that should be announced later this week. TNA also detailed Shark Boy's recent lawsuit against Disney for their use of his trademarked name. Shark Boy will be making an official statement on TNA's website regarding the pending litigation later on this week.

Raven is being advertised for Slammiversary despite "quitting" TNA on the 5/20 edition of Impact on Fox Sports Net. For the purpose of storyline, TNA will have extra security at Universal Studios to prevent Raven from entering the Impact zone on Sunday.

The Slammiversary 30 minute pre-show will feature Jeremy Borash and Shane Douglas as well as two warm-up matches that will be announced later in the week.
