The current plan for Triple H right now is to take some significant time off to re-freshen his character to the WWE audience, and then bring him back.

This was made very clear last night when they decided to go with John Cena defending against Chris Jericho at one of the big PPVs "SummerSlam".

The original plans for Cena's first title defense on the RAW brand in a one-on-one pay-per view match was to be against Triple H at SummerSlam, with a small program with Jericho on RAW leading up to a TV main-event match while waiting out SmackDown's PPV and the time to begin the build-up for SummerSlam.

Triple H will continue to go on the road with WWE, and has a few more dark match main-events with JBL against Batista and John Cena scheduled in the coming weeks.
