According to WrestlingObserver.com, certain promotional materials for Summerslam claim that the PPV will be WWE's first to emanate from the nation's capital in over two decades. That is incorrect, as WWE Backlash in 2000 took place in Washington, DC.

WWE.com has a new article up with Matt Striker talking about breaking into pro wrestling. Throughout the article, Striker does a hard sell about wanting to become a WWE superstar - noting that such a thing is his only real future aspiration. Striker also spoke about the significance of the apple on his tights.

It should be noted that Striker continued trying to victimize himself in the New York City teaching controversy. While he admitted what he did was wrong, he did get on the clear offensive at certain points in the interview.
