Posted September 7, 200519 yr Does anyone know about a so called 10 day rule that if one is on the active roster and then sent down he has to remain down for 10 days before he can be recalled....reason being that if recalled before the 10 days is up one has to be placed back on the 25 man active roster?????????????? The rules of MLB are overwhelming sometimes....

The rules of MLB are overwhelming sometimes.... 933510[/snapback] The rule has been around a long time.. The only way to bypass the ruke is to replace an injured player (same position) that was put on the disabled list. Since no one was put on the DL, Chris would have to wait the 10 days.
