November 2, 200520 yr SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- Jim Boeheim was ejected in the final minute of the first half of Syracuse's exhibition game against Saint Rose on Tuesday night after arguing with the referees. Boeheim became incensed when guards Gerry McNamara and Josh Wright and center Darryl Watkins were hit going to the basket and no fouls were called. Referee Pat Driscoll finally whistled Boeheim for a technical with 28.9 seconds left in the period, and Boeheim continued to argue his case. When Brad Shove hit the free throw for the technical and Boeheim was still jawing, referee Mike Kitts called another and ejected Boeheim. Boeheim, beginning his 30th season with the Orange, stood briefly in disbelief, waved his arms in disgust and then left to a standing ovation from the crowd. Kind of odd that he would but ok.
