My computer was running lousy......

Featured Replies

My computer was running lousy......

So I reformatted the hard drive and re-installed my software.

My computer ran OK for a few days but returned to running lousy after that.

I ran anti-virus and anti-spyware and that helped a little.

But still my computer was running lousy.

I then defragmented the hard drive but still my computer was taking 10 minutes to boot up and freezing up every 20 minutes or so.

I then gave up and I bought new computer components from TigerDirect to build a new computer for myself.

Those components include Gamer's 400 w PS and case, motherboard, P 4 L775 3.06 Ghz CPU, 1 GigaByte 533 mhz DDRII dual channel memory, 256 mb PC Express video card and new dolby 5.1 speakers for about $ 600 after rebates.

Then my brother tells me to try "Registry Mechanic" program which can be downloaded for trial use at:

Bingo, even before my new computer parts arrived, my computer is running OK again. I therefore recomend "Registry Mechanic" to optimize and repair your computer system, (software), before it's too late.

Good Luck, but anyways my new computer should be faster.....

:'( :'( :(

Update: Above program is good but I purchased "Windows Registry Repair Pro or SE." See below link:

Despite running better, I still think my old computer is on it's last days, as it will freeze up every hour or so.

:'( :'( :(
