Could it be...

Has Lefty's wait finally ended?

Will this mark the end of a season-long Dolphin's blackout in Tallahassee?

One can only hope. Generally, Jacksonville and Tampa Bay control TV rights in the area. So every single week since week 1 (Jets), the Dolphins have not been shown on local TV in Tally-town. Sometimes it's because they are on Fox and Tampa is playing at the same time. Other times it's because they are on CBS and Jack-city is on the same time. Sometimes it's a combination of things.

Needless to say, I have to search the depths of the Internet to find 'other' means of watching the games. Yes, I went to a bar once to watch a Fins game this year, but I'm more of an intimate fan, and I like listening to the broadcast with just a few friends.

Anyway, this week the Dolphins play in San Diego at 4:15 PM. Neither the Jaguars, Bucs or even Atlanta Falcons play at 4.

This seems like the perfect opportunity to show a Fins game in Tallahassee, seeing as how there isn't any more excuses not to. The only thing I can think of is that CBS decides not to show a 4 pm game, which I'm not sure how often they do or don't. If they don't show it, that's bogus and messed up.

Anyway, I just thought it was prudent--for 12 straight weeks, Tallahassee has not had a Dolphins game aired. It's about time, god damn it! Do it!!
