Major League Baseball will have significant input in the Marlins' decision and also plans to increase its involvement in stadium negotiations locally, industry officials said. The Marlins declined to comment.

 

I guess those industry officials are Jerry Del Castillo and The Marlins Ballpark News for spreading the word.
