Dateline: Thursday, September 14, 2006 By: KARL SCHNEIDER By: News Editor Source: Sci Fi Wire According to Sci Fi Wire, the upcoming 20th Century Fox film JUMPER will be a trilogy and not a stand alone film. "This is such a big story to tell, we're now thinking about it as a trilogy of movies," said producer Lucas Foster. "You can't tell all of this in one film." The film stars Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Bell and Max Thieriot and follows Christensen's character, a troubled young man who discovers he can teleport himself by merely thinking about it. Doug Liman (Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith) is directing the film for the studio. The film is expected in theaters next year.
