Chad Johnson will shave his mohawk if DeAngelo Fall wins

As advertised, the bombastic and verbose Chad Johnson is back, proclaiming Wednesday that he?ll beat Pro Bowl cornerback DeAngelo Hall (?Fall,? he called him) so badly that he?ll have to find work at the Atlanta Fatburger owned by Bengals right tackle Willie Anderson.

Johnson said Lewis has told him to tone it down and that he?s risking a fine for stepping out as the Old Chad. But Lewis said, ?Marvin has never fined him,? and hasn?t even threatened him with one.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Johnson says he would like this week to he called, ?ochenta y cinco.? Which is ?85? in Spanish.

But Chad in his Old English was quite enough.

For the benefit of the assembled media, Johnson took his team checklist, went to the one club marked in red (Atlanta) and wrote "DeAngelo Fall" next to it and already checked the "No" box, as if "No," Hall didn't cover him.

Even the most audacious Chad would wait until after the game to do that, but Wednesday was special.

"Marvin told me to tone it down. Told me to be quiet. I've been quiet all year. I haven't said much," Johnson said. "I'm back.

"I'm celebrating. I'm going to score. I'm going to score more than once," said Johnson, who has one touchdown this season. "I'm tired of being quiet. I've had no motivation, I've had no energy. I've had no drive. Nothing to look forward to on Sunday. I don't care if they put five people on me, I'm going to get it done this week."

Told that Johnson felt like he was in an emotional slump, Lewis burst out laughing before saying, "Sounds like an excuse.

"I've failed at the medicine degree so maybe I can go for the other doctoral fields and try to figure him out."

Told it would be a full-time job, Lewis laughed and said, "I'd have to quit this one."

Wide receiver T.J.. Houshmandzadeh just shook his head.

"Marvin told him to be quiet? Marvin's been telling him to be quiet," Houshmandzadeh said. "Why would he listen now? He was just quiet because he wanted to be quiet. He wanted to go against that guy hoping to get man-to-man coverage."

That guy, of course, is Hall, the man Johnson says is the NFL's best cornerback. They have been trash talking since the Pro Bowl, but in his conference call with the Cincinnati media Wednesday, Hall, who leads the NFL with four interceptions, played it straight.

"Great one-liners," said Hall, who said how much he admired Johnson's work ethic.

As for playing one-on-one, Hall said, "Whatever it takes" for the Falcons to win.

"T.J. I think is the best No. 2 receiver in the league," Hall said. "I think if he goes anywhere else he's the No. 1 guy. He can make just as many plays as Chad makes. Chad just has the great one-liners. T.J. goes out and puts on that work hat every day."

Told that Johnson says he?ll need to get a job at Anderson?s Fatburger, Hall laughed.

?That?s another great one-liner, but I?m a Pro Bowl player," Hall said. "I ain?t too worried about getting a job. I can always find a job. I think y?all got it a little misconstrued. I don?t really talk a lot of trash. I really do let my play speak for itself. I?m 22 years old. I?m considered one of the best if not the best corner in the league already.?
