Posted March 24, 200718 yr Can someone please help me with some numbers - I am in a debate with friends about Marlins batting - how did the 2006 Marlins run scoring compare to other Marlins seasons - in particular the 1997 & 2003 years, but any others will be fine too. Thanks in advance if you know this.

March 25, 200718 yr My friend was saying that the Marlins 'sticks' are going to suck this year, and that opposing pitchers will just walk Miggy....I told him that was what everyone predicted LAST year as well, and all the surprising hitters made sure that Miggy was NOT walked. And he said "how can that be when you scored fewer runs last year than most years?" - and I knew that wasn't true, but I didn't have numbers to show him.
