Posted November 7, 200717 yr You are driving your car at a constant speed. On your left side is a 'drop off' (the ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on,) and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car and you cannot to overtake it. Behind you is a galloping zebra. Both the horse and the zebra are traveling at the same speed as you. What must you do to safely get out of this dangerous situation?? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Get your drunk-ass off the merry-go-round.
February 24, 200817 yr You are on a merry-go-round. Heard this one a few years ago. Three switches in the shed control three different lights in your house. One light is on the first floor. The other on the second and the last on the third. For whatever reason, you cant see you're house from the shed (its a long way away..or whatever.) but you need to know which switch controls which light. You are in the shed, and you can only make one trip to the house to find out which switch controls which light. How can you do this?
March 8, 200817 yr I'd assume the middle switch is for the second floor and try one of the corner switches to find out if it turns on the 1st or 3rd floor. I'm sure that's not the answer but it's what I'd do.
