February 2, 200818 yr With all the off-season transactions, we've got alot of new faces in the lineup and rotation. I think alot of guys are poised to put up big numbers next year so I thought it would be intresting to see everyone's predictions. Since third base is still undecided, I'll list my projections for all 3 candidates if they were to win the starting job. For catcher I'm assuming a 110/52 split between Robelo and Treanor. The Maybin number predictions are also based on a full season. Starting Lineup Projections: 1. CF Cameron Maybin - .262, 15 HR, 65 RBI 2. RF Jeremy Hermida - .308, 22 HR, 82 RBI 3. SS Hanley Ramirez - .316, 32 HR, 104 RBI 4. LF Josh Willingham - .268, 28 HR, 110 RBI 5. 2B Dan Uggla - .257, 25 HR, 96 RBI 6. 1B Mike Jacobs - .273, 25 HR, 74 RBI 7. 3B Dallas McPherson - .248, 18 HR, 77 RBI 7. 3B Jose Castillo - .266, 3 HR, 41 RBI 7. 3B Jorge Cantu - .241, 11 HR, 63 RBI 8. C Mike Robelo - .252, 6 HR, 42 RBI 8. C Matt Treanor - .236 5 HR, 28 RBI Starting Rotation Projections: 1. Andrew Miller - 15-10, 3.80 ERA 2. Sergio Mitre - 13-13, 4.33 ERA 3. Scott Olsen - 12-14, 4.24 ERA Only listing 3 guys here because of uncertainty around Anibel and Nolasco. And, just for the heck of it, some Tiger predictions: 3B Miguel Cabrera - .334, 41 HR, 126 RBI SP Dontrelle Willis - 16-11, 4.08 ERA Feel free to share your projections, or correct/criticize some of mine.
February 2, 200818 yr I agree with all of these except for Miller. I think he'll post an ERA somewhere in the 4.2-4.4 range
