I am running a baseball forum and we are starting up a blog that will consist of all teams and we are currently looking for a Marlins writer. We wouldn't be asking for much, maybe an article a week, a bit more if you have time, but we are opening this up to anyone. The forum itself already has 120+ members posting and a lot will be reading the blogs, we also have partnerships going with a lot of sites. In return, marlinsbaseball will be linked to the affiliates section of the blog so you would also get some traffic from it.
