What: The SMWW Baseball Career Conference will be held in 2010 at The Walt Disney World Resort BoardWalk Inn. This conference is to gain valuable insight into a variety of careers from those working at the highest level in baseball! This day long career conference offers unique panel discussions and question-answer periods designed to start or advance your career on the business of baseball. The day will be split up into diverse speaker panels; including sports business, athlete representation, scouting, broadcasting, media, and sports career strategies.


Goal: To provide members of the sports industry with an opportunity to work with and learn from leading industry experts regarding the representation of athletes and the challenges of operating professional teams, leagues, facilities and media outlets.

When: Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 7pm-9m for an optional Welcome Reception and Monday, December 6th, 2010 from 8am-5pm.


Where: SMWW Baseball Conference sessions take place at the Walt Disney World BoardWalk Inn which is walking distance to the Winter Meetings which are held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The BoardWalk Inn is now sold out for rooms but many lodging options are still available in the area.
