January 23, 200422 yr A.J. Burnett threw off a mound Thursday for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery nine months ago. "Today it went nice and easy," Burnett said. "Nothing hurts. But I'm looking at the big picture. I'm ready to strike somebody out." Burnett thinks it's possible that he could be ready to start the season in the Florida rotation. However, it's still likely that he'll experience a setback or two. /rotoworld
