There is no such thing as policing without discretion. How could the local campus police or local town police departments exercise discretion in enforcing underage drinking and public intoxication?

Just out of curiosity, what kind of discretion are you looking for them to show? Should they look the other way because we are talking about college students, or are you referring to something else? Are the police suppose to show discretion since the underage drinkers obviously didn't?

 

Guess I need to know what type of specific discretion you are looking for.
