New member here, I've been reading up on this guy name juan alvarez and with him being a left handed pitcher why hasn't he been mentioned by anyone on this board. He looked pretty good in spring training, and he put up pretty solid numbers for the marlins this year. So whats up with him is he injured or not under contract with the team anymore or something. Can someone give me some info on this guy.

After tuesdays game against the knicks its clear the heat need a big man, and theres this guy by the name of Slavko Vranes who was just waived by the knicks who is 7-5 and is a monster of a shot blocker. The miami heat should atleast give this guy a look because this team lacks size and literally has no shot blocker.

First of all everyone right now knows that Caron Butler is struggling and is low on his confidence. So the best thing for the heat to do right now is to put Caron Butler back on the Injured Reserved list, let him get himself situated and back in shape, and then when he's ready we should bring him back after the all star break. NOT TRADE HIM!!!!!!!! Also we should activate John Wallace and place sorry Malik Allen back on the injured reserved List.
