  1. Also, Lopez had a fantastic first start so this trade looks really nice from both sides.
  2. I just checked in and saw he's off to a ridiculous start. Good for him, love to see it. How are you all enjoying his slap-hitting and dancing around in the box? Fun, isn't it?
  3. He's one of the most irritating outs in baseball, for sure.
  4. If you all want to get excited about watching Arraez, this is one of the most memorable plate appearances I've seen in nearly 40 years of watching baseball. I can't remember who went down with an injury but Arraez (a rookie!) is called upon to pinch-hit with an 0-2 count.
  5. I can speak from extensive first-hand experience that Twins Twitter is idiotic, just like the rest of Twitter. Some people cannot be satisfied. The Twins needed pitching, the Marlins needed hitting. So they swapped oft-injured young players with significant upside. Seems like a pretty good deal all-around to me.
  6. Twins fan here. You're gonna LOVE Luis Arraez. As someone who has watched him extensively over the past four seasons, he's gonna become a fan favorite. First, his plate appearances are top-notch every time. He spits on borderline pitches, works the count, then slaps a single to left. It's beautiful. Second, he's an absolute RIOT to watch. He hops around the box, leans into outside pitches as they travel through the zone, makes funny faces after pitches, and is just exuberant at the plate. Third, he's beloved in the clubhouse and seems to be a legitimately great dude. Enjoy him, I'm gonna miss watching him over 162 but will definitely be tuning into Marlins games on occasion to see how he's doing.
