Thanks for the comments, yah I don't blame any of yah for thinking Cubs fans are arrogant, because some are. It annoys me. It baffles me how some can be arrogant and all after 2003. I learned my lesson . But, really the Marlins are one of the most underrated franchies in history. 13th year of play? And two world championships...better than any other team ever. Once this franchise gets some stability the respect will come. I thank you for letting me come on board, and the asinine comments don't hurt to much...I know there is some bad blood from the jealousy of Cubs fans...and some Marlins fans blasted back. Nothing I haven't seen between Cubs/Cards! But, yah Vargas was awesome last nite, even though the Cubs got the W...Vargas deserved that. I hope to contribute some to these forums and share with you a great bunch of young guns unfold into some super-stars. Yeah D-Lee and Pierre are awesome. Pierre isn't as hot as he could be, but I think he will come around he is 7 for 7 in steals...and D-Lee awesome last year it will be tough without him. But, yah good luck the rest of the way except the last 4 games between us .

I am here to say a few things about the Marlins. Yes I know my name is a cubsfan. But, I got to admit I am FINALLY over 2003 . Hehe, but I was so wrong about Marlins fans. I thought they were fairweather and sttuff, but this forum proves otherwise. And I love to comend your fan base for sticking in there after 2 fire sales. You have had some helluv good teams. But, the first game of this series I never realized how awesome this Marlins team is. Yes they are young and they probably won't win the World Series, but I fell in love with this Marlins team. I have never seen so much fire, excitment, and joy in a team. These young guys are special. And I think I will now be rooting for the Marlins, besides the Cubs. But, really this team isn't about riches or anything like that, but for the love of the game. I really feel sorry for you guys that you had to go through all the management crap and and all. I hope for a loyal fan base like you staying with this young team (that has all the potential in the world) that only has 14 Mil payroll. Marlins fans deserve better though. So, I hope there can be something that keeps the Marlins in South Florida, get a couple of vets to play along side these young guns, and just an owner that cares. Good luck the rest of the way, and I admit I was jealous and bitter, but I am here just to say Go Marlins and go Marlin Fans for being what baseball is all about.
