But his office later released a statement making it clear that the maverick Republican was not interested in the Democratic running mate slot.

 

 

I would absolutley love it if this happend. Im a big fan of McCain and didnt like the personal attacks he took at the hands of Bush in 2000. He is a sensible more bipartisan senator and would she that being a moderate and not a radical conservative neocon is what is most important. Bush would have no chance to win this.

 

 

I doubt it would happen. That kind of ticket would shake the very core of the American political system. Both parties would be scrambling at the blinding sensibility.

I hate both, but this would certainly help the democrats. this would be a must do.

I don't think Mccain would ever do it, mostly because hes a moderate republican not a liberal democract like Kerry. If Mccain would ever switch parties to run for VP it would be with a more moderate candidate like edwards.
