March 11, 200422 yr Meanwhile, Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, found himself briefly in the spotlight when he appeared to entertain the notion that he could be Kerry's running mate. But his office later released a statement making it clear that the maverick Republican was not interested in the Democratic running mate slot. I would absolutley love it if this happend. Im a big fan of McCain and didnt like the personal attacks he took at the hands of Bush in 2000. He is a sensible more bipartisan senator and would she that being a moderate and not a radical conservative neocon is what is most important. Bush would have no chance to win this. I doubt it would happen. That kind of ticket would shake the very core of the American political system. Both parties would be scrambling at the blinding sensibility.
March 11, 200422 yr I hate both, but this would certainly help the democrats. this would be a must do.
March 12, 200422 yr I don't think Mccain would ever do it, mostly because hes a moderate republican not a liberal democract like Kerry. If Mccain would ever switch parties to run for VP it would be with a more moderate candidate like edwards.
