Lamar Odom

Cool

Why not he played well.

Miami Heat foward Lamar Odom earned the Eastern Conference honor after averaging 17.4 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals.

He sparked Miami to a 12-3 record as the Heat have climbed to a tie for fourth in the Eastern Conference.

I think that says it all.

he is our MVP

hes really turned his career and his life

he pulled off the greatest ind. performance in heat history

but the most amazing thing is the heat are kicking ass

Actually, what's cool about this award is that it really recognizes the team's play and effort, I think even more so than just Odom. If he put up those numbers on say the Bulls, no one would give a crap. But certainly the most important stat for him getting that award is the 12-3 record, and I doubt he was the most significant player on the floor for even half of those games. I don't want to sound like I'm ripping on Odom at all because he's been great, but this is a true team award.
