I may sound bitter, but....

The Fish got squezze in this series by all the Umps. Check swings, low strikes, everything. Though give the Braves credit for taken advantage of it. I expect it BIG TV contract for baseball :whistle

me to, the umps were not on the marlins side. this has to have been the worst umpiring crew we've had around here in a long time. they gave the braves certain pitches in key counts.

I'll agree, but I don't think we can blame the umps, the Braves are still a good team, and we beat ourselves a lot. Still not cashing in with RISP...

Friday's game I remember seeing pitches thrown in the same spot that atleast early were not called consistently for either team. I didn't get to watch Saturday. Today Willis was definetly getting squeezed at times, but I thought Thomson did too. Our batters just made it easier for him swinging at borderline pitches.

Yeah the umps were definitely not very good this series. It was pretty bad. A bunch of calls were pretty poor, but oh well. Still the teams fault for playing so poorly and not hitting the ball very well.
