May 8, 200422 yr Twins Return To TV May 8, 2004 9:25 am US/Central The Minnesota Twins are returning to TV. The Twins agreed to a telecast agreement with Fox Sports Net on Friday. The agreement ensures that fans will be able to see games on cable and satellite television throughout the area. Twins games so far this season have been carried on Victory Sports, a network owned by the team. Victory Sports and major cable and satellite companies were unable to come to an agreement to air the games. As a result, most fans were left without television coverage of Twins games. The first game schedule to air on Fox Sports Net is today's game against the Oakland Athletics. Coverage starts at 3:00 p.m. "We are excited to once again provide Twins games to the team's fans throughout the upper midwest," said Fox Sports Net General Manager Steve Woelfel. "We're happy to extend the long-term relationship with the Twins and to telecast Twins baseball for many years to come." MMIV, CBS Broadcasting Inc., All Rights Reserved.
