he is in a slump-thats why his average is .245

dont worry he will work through it

you have to give some players a chance to fail and still hold their place...

NO

you put him in the 6 hole till he starts contributing again

and who knows, if we start winning with him there, maybe he stays there

luis will contribute-you dont have to punish him until he starts contributing again.

do you even read what you write?

Luiy is one of our best hitters. He's not contributing as of recent, but generally you want your best hitters high in the lineup because they get more plate appearances.

do you even read what you write? punish him by giving him less AB's

do you even read what you write? punish him by giving him less AB's he would get 1 less AB at most and for someone hitting .245, i dont want them getting more at bats

Why are you going to punish one of the better hitters on the team with less AB's? Wouldn't that be in turn punishing the team, taking away a main cog of the offense, which in turn punishes the fans for doing absolutely nothing? Sure, let's sit one of our best bats. That's a plan. Right up there with making Darren Oliver closer in the Awesome Ideas basket.

and hes a great hitter usually. so we want him in the #2 spot and ever AB counts!

all I said was push him down in the order until his stroke comes back

is that really punishing the team?

because right now, he aint helpin

I wasn't saying no to that, I like that because it might spark the bottom of the lineup. My problem was with the comment "punish him by giving him less AB's". Absolutely ridiculous.
