May 31, 200422 yr Well, i went to citizens bank today, and all i can say is wow. Before i start telling you stuff, i'll warn you: i've only been to 3 other parks before this and, and only one "nice" one (Turner Field). This was far and away the best of the 4 i've been to. First, the stadium is just really nice looking from the outside, and just as beatiful inside. By my judgement, it looked like all the seats were pretty good seats (view-wise), and another great feature was the concourse, which had little counters right behind the last row where you could eat your food (which i'll get to later) and watch the game. You could probably even just stand there and watch the whole game. It was very nice. Ashburn alley was very cool, it had 3 games: 1 of which was definitely for little kids (run the bases type thing), another which was mostly kids (very big pinball), and a very cool speed pitch. Another great feature of the alley was that you could have a very clear view of the game from straight away center. You were also very close to the visiting bullpen, which was cool. But, before the game it was VERY crowded, and it was never less than 2/3 empty. The food. I made sure i tried all the good looking food. I'll go from least best to best. (nothing was bad). The pizza was ok, and it looked a lot better than it tasted. Everything else was really good. The ribs were really tasty, but kind of tough. Then there were 2. Geno's cheesesteak had a line that was probably literally 100 yards long before the game started, so i decided to wait and see if it would die down, because i heard that it was the best cheesesteak place. By the middle of the 4th, it was alright, but still really long, but i decided to wait in it. It was worth the wait. The cheesesteak was o-so-good, my first cheesesteak ever. The last thing is just so amazingly good, i never thought i could something so good at a baseball game. The pork sandwhich from bulls bbq. A little spicy, a lot tasty. Unbelieveable. They also had a cool promotion, idk how long it lasts but, when the phillies score 4 or more runs, you get a free chicken sandwhich from chick-fil-a. Other cool features: Lineup card in ashburn alley with huge baseball cards.Bell when phillies hit a HR. VERY, VERY nice scoreboard. well that's it. Can't wait for thursday and shea, and best of all, AJ!!!!!!!!!!
