well i may be trying a little too hard to contribute to this board sense i am new here, but i was wandering if anyone would like to predict the outcome of this season. I want your true feelings on this not trying to be a true teal fan.

 

my prediction, the Marlins' fight their way all the way up to .500 around the all-star break. They come out strong right afterwards and end up only 5-7 games behind the braves and in major contention for a wild-card. They will sweep a series at home and then..dum dum dum...they go to the West Coast the play mediocre baseball all the way through that trip and wind up droping out of contention for the pennant, rather than pray for a wild card spot and make moves to make the team better they deal luis castillo and D.Lee. Keeping Lowell. The team tries to battle back but with the overwhelming feeling of the management giving up on them they drop to around .500 and finish in 4th place in the division ahead of the ice cold Expos and only 1.5 games behind the tempid Mets.

 

I just hope that im wrong. But I just have that sinking feeling Luis and D.Lee means more to this team than even Cliff Floyd did last year.

but i think this team will suprise a lot of people. i'm not saying well win the wild card but it'll be fun. most of the time around august september the mrlns play games just because there is an 162 game schedule not because they are gonna make a run at anything.

 

but i'm not going to give any blatant predictions, i'm just gonna watch this team play. they're very hot nowand hopefully they make us happy
