June 13, 200422 yr Beltran would play right, Cabrera would play left, JP stays in center. If it happens. I don't think that makes sense being that Beltran is a much better defensive centerfielder. Anyways, its not happening. I just hope he gets traded somewhere soon so I don't have to hear about this anymore.
June 13, 200422 yr The reason I think it works is A) Pierre isn't coming out the lineup, B) Cabrera is a liability in right, and C) Beltran is a better hitter than Conine. It would give us three above average hitters in the OF, and pretty good defensively all around if Cabs is in left.
